I heard a lecture by Frazer and somebody... who did screen prin borders and then a zillion coats of mx to make photo realistic landscapes... they said they always did the borders first so they didn't wrect the labor intensive hand painting with a mucked up border...

I absolutely love spoonflower. I am waiting now for my first swatches to arrice. I think they will make a lovely quit. Thanks for your testing. your results helped me decide to finally buy the swatches. It seemed such a frivolous expense for something I wasnt even sure Id like. But Hopefully Ill end up with a lovely quilt.

What a beautiful photo! The warm weather we had was sort of freaking me out. I love warmth, but it just seemed out of place in January. I've missed seeing you at the Thursday night "book" group, and hope you're doing well!

That is WONDERFUL! My puppy should be so lucky. Photoshop has got to be one of the best programs ever. It comes in handy quite often for correcting red eye and blemishes (not that I ever have any, ha ha).

I feel like I'm in such noble company over in your sidebar! Your holidays look pretty merry and bright; I hope they stay that way! Zero and I (and my fiance) are still trying to decide what to do for tomorrow night, but I suspect it will be a quiet evening at home, which suits us just fine!

Your blog is just beautiful, Leslie! I love these snowy photos. I've been thinking that I need to get my puppy up to the snow somehow. But that will have to wait until after the holidays.

Merry Christmas!
